The Chosen is the second model produced by Fifty Nine. This instrument follows our philosophy of always building with the best raw materials. The first unit has the body in freijó, arm and scale in maple. To further enhance the sound and aesthetic characteristics of these woods, we paint the body with a very thin layer of nitrocellulose; leaving part of the apparent wood texture. The neck and scale were finished with a special oil. This method enhances the color of the maple and leaves the surface of the wood with a slightly adherent texture, suitable for that piece.
